In honor of Celebrate Pro Bono Week, Kitsap Legal Services and the YWCA present…
In Her Shoes: Living with Domestic Violence
YWCA Kitsap County facilitates an experimental learning activity: In Her Shoes. Based n the experiences of real survivors, participants engage in a simulation in which they walk in the shoes of various characters experiencing abusive and controlling relationships. Following the simulation, participants will have the opportunity to debrief the activity with a panel of experts who work with survivors and their children. Educating Kitsap County is critical to creating a culture of intolerance for domestic violence and providing adequate support to those it impacts directly.

Open House in the Kitsap Legal Services office immediately following from 6pm – 7pm. Appetizers and beverages provided.
