2018 Seattle Citywide Pro Bono Fair
Legal services organizations from across the Seattle area will be in attendance to meet with lawyers and law students looking for pro bono opportunities. This is a great time to explore the many ways you can use your legal knowledge to help your community while developing new legal skills. Some of the approximately 20 legal service providers attending include Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, University of Washington School of Law’s Pro Bono Patent Network and Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, Center for Children and Youth Justice’s Lawyers Fostering Independence program, Kids in Need of Defense, Seattle Clemency Project, and Wayfind.
Back by popular demand, we will be hosting a one-hour ethics CLE from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with ALL NEW ethics questions.
Ethics Jeopardy: Show your ethics pride in this interactive game show competition that will discuss ethical issues that arise in daily law practice, the Washington Rules of Professional Conduct, and other jurisdictional specifics. Think you know it all? Bet it all on the Daily Double! But whatever you do, don’t forget to answer in the form of a question.
