In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the King County Superior Court’s Courts & Community Committee is pleased to present a panel discussion sharing information about pursuing a career as a judicial officer, including accounts of the federal nomination process, Washington’s gubernatorial appointment process, and the judicial rating process. The keynote speaker, Lauren J. King, was recently confirmed to serve as a United States District Court Judge for the Western District of Washington. Ms. King is a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and a Principal Attorney at Foster Garvey, PC, in Seattle.
