Description
We will start with a presentation by Sharon Dolovich (UCLA) titled “COVID Behind Bars.” Professor Dolovich and colleagues have been collecting data on COVID-19 in prisons, jails, and immigration detention centers, as well as tracking pandemic-related prison and jail releases and other attempts to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 in these settings. You can read more about the UCLA COVID-19 Behind Bars Data Project here and in the attached paper.
