The Access to Justice Board invites you to “Advancing Justice through Community Partnerships”

Please join us after the Goldmark Luncheon for a State Plan-driven discussion on building authentic, accountable community-legal partnerships. Community leaders and panelists from across Washington will share examples of regional partnership strategies highlighting: what has worked, what has been gained, and what challenges can arise. Speakers include Colleen Echohawk, executive director of Chief Seattle Club; Jodi Nishioka, executive director of Communities Rise; Chris Lovings, community engagement and volunteer manager at Eastside Legal Assistance Program; Debbie Lacy, co-founder and executive director of the Eastside Refugee & Immigrant Coalition (ERIC); and other speakers soon-to-be-announced. The session will culminate in small group discussions based on geographic affinities and planning for ongoing collaboration at the local level.
