Please join us for an afternoon training on basics of anti-racism analysis and practice. This is also a great opportunity to prepare for productive conversations around race with friends and family in the upcoming holiday season. Space is limited, so register here and ensure you get a spot!
The training will cover language and history as well as build alignment around a shared understand of structural racism. We will also practice talking about race and racism with family and friends, share info about CARW and ways to get involved in multi-racial organizing in Seattle. We will close with an opportunity for collective action. This training is open to CARW members and members of the public. Suggested donation of $10-$50 to cover space rental and materials.
Accessibility: the space is ADA accessible; please refrain from using scented products in deference to folks with sensitivities; we will strive to provide childcare, please respond to your confirmation email in order to indicate childcare needs.
