Legal aid Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officers are invited to participate in a free discussion group aimed at building community and creating a network for directors leading DEI efforts.

Legal aid programs across the country are working to improve diversity recruiting and retention, expand community involvement, tailor services, and establish best practices that thoughtfully consider and address longstanding inequities. Many programs now have DEI officers on staff tackling these issues. However, these roles are often newly created positions, leaving DEI officers with the daunting task of navigating this unchartered territory alone, often with limited guidance on program goals, effective approaches, helpful resources, or methods for measuring progress.
Through guided conversation we hope to:

• Create a support network for DEI leaders
• Share ideas, innovations, and best practices
• Gather input on useful training and programming
