In 1984, a group of activists gathered in Seattle to fight for justice and legal protection for immigrants. Their efforts were the beginning of Northwest Immigrant Rights Project. Today, NWIRP has grown into one of the largest immigrant rights organizations in the United States, serving tens of thousands of immigrants throughout Washington and across the country. On May 17th, we will be celebrating our 35-year history with over 1,200 of our closest friends. We hope to see you there.
