The Washington Race Equity & Justice Initiative (REJI) invites you to a “virtual coffee” conversation with Equity Consultant Dr. Michelle Majors and Angela Dunleavy-Stowell, CEO of FareStart. This session will explore the challenges and strategies that surface when advancing race equity within large, multi-faceted organizations. Michelle and Angela will share their experiences over the last 12 months supporting FareStart in its deep dive into diversity, equity, and inclusion work, which included an organization-wide equity assessment, building equity teams, budgeting and delivering trainings, and shifting culture within the organization. Angela will share her ups and down as CEO in advancing this work with staff, board, and other key stakeholders. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions to help brainstorm solutions for their leadership challenges in advancing race equity organizationally. 1.0 CLE credits pending.
