At our last meeting, we learned about the Baby’s First Years study, including some of the complications the study team encountered when providing unconditional cash payments to low-income families. Our upcoming meeting will go into more detail about the interaction of increased income and means-tested benefits. We will begin with a presentation by Ellie Terry (UW, Evans School of Public Policy & Governance) titled “Guaranteed Income and the Social Safety Net: Informing Families on Potential Benefits Loss when Participating in a GI Pilot Program.”
We look forward to the conversation, and we hope you can join us. Please register HERE by 4/27 if you plan to attend. We will send a Zoom link to everyone who has registered.
