Are you passionate about the importance of civil legal aid? Are you interested in getting involved in politics? Do you value equity and justice?
If so, then you should apply to be a member of the Equal Justice Coalition’s new Legislative Relations Committee!
The Equal Justice Coalition (EJC) is a non-partisan, statewide coalition of organizations that advocate for increased public funding for civil legal aid. We’re forming a new committee – composed of 10 to 30 people from around the state – to play a critical role in our education and lobbying efforts to increase funding for legal aid. Committee members will help build and maintain relationships with their local policymakers, organize engagement with elected officials, and be the EJC’s on the ground representatives in their communities.
To Apply
To find more information about the work of the committee and the very short application process, please view the Committee overview and demographic questionnaire.
